About Us
Cal and Bobbie Johnson started the Utah Barricade Company in 1961. Cal, a former police officer with the SLC PD, was a pioneer, developing traffic control devices in his garage. He had just one thought in mind; to keep the public and roadway workers safe. Our logo "Your Safety is Our Business" tells the story of our company in one sentence. Today, that focus on safety continues with their daughter Cheryl and all off the Utah Barricade family.
